Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta peel extra strength review

So I kept hearing about these peels and how wonderful they are. I had seen it in different magazines and on the internet. They raved about the wonders they do for your skin. I could not wait to get my hands on these so I went to Sephora and purchased a 14 day supply for $45 dollars. I think that is a bit pricey and I definitely couldn't afford to use them everyday but every now and then it is sure cheaper than going in for a treatment. I also knew if I hated them or they were too harsh on my skin I could return the remainder to Sephora for a full refund. So the peels are a three step process which they make very simple by packaging steps one and two like wet naps that you open and apply. You apply step one which is a gentle wipe to your face and wait two minutes, then you do the same with step two which is a wipe and wait two minutes, and step three is the peel which is in a small bottle is the final step. You apply and then you can apply a moisturizer. I've used other peels in the past and they can feel like they are burning your skin which is always terrifying. This wasn't like that at all, I didn't feel anything and was almost worried that it couldn't possibly doing anything. Well I was wrong, they do work and they work well. My skin had a glow that I had not seen before, my husband also commented on my skin which was quite surprising. It didn't lighten any of my dark spots but then it didn't claim it would, I was just hoping. I think this is a good product and can see why it has gained the attention it has. I will definitely pick more of these up when I feel like my skin needs a little something. Let me know if you have tried these and if you like them.

L'Oreal Magic nude liquid powder review

So every once in awhile we come across one of those products which makes you say, "run, don't walk to go and get this product." L'Oreal has been on a roll for wowing me and I can say they did not disappoint with the new Magic nude liquid powder. I will start by saying there does seem to be magic in this bottle. Isn't liquid powder an oxymoron for god sake? Well this stuff comes out like a a very loose liquid but when you apply it to your skin it is like instantly a powder. It goes on easily and blends in like a dream. I will say if you are looking for major coverage this probably isn't for you. It is very light and offers minimal coverage but gives an even skin tone appearance when done. I almost felt like my skin looked air brushed which I thought was an amazing effect. I love love love this product! I have been on a BB cream kick but because they can be so creamy I feel shiny when I use, this product is completely different, it gives a powdered finished look. Please try this and let me know if you love it as much as me.

Murad rapid age spot and pigment lightening serum review

I first saw an advertisement for Murad rapid age spot and pigment lightening serum in More magazine, and the add boasts some big claims. The add says reduces appearance of age spots by 33 percent in one week, and even better if you called the 800 number you could get a free sample,(praise the lord and sign me up). I called the number and was informed that although they had run out of samples they could sell me some and I was offered a very pricey package of goods, it really irritated me as I hate when company's do stuff like that. I said no thank you and then I went online and ordered a sample size which came with cleanser and day cream for fifteen dollars. I was so excited to get this product as I spend a lot of time in sun and have the sun damaged skin to prove it and I am a hyperpigmenter. Well lets begin by saying I did not see a 33 percent reduction in one week or any difference for that matter. And after three weeks of using this product what I have noticed is my skin is a mess. I have had break outs which I don't usually get and it is almost like the product is burning my skin. It contains 2% hydroquinone, however I have used higher percentages before and not had a reaction like this. This is pretty expensive stuff at $60 for the regular size and I was seriously hoping it was a miracle in a bottle however I am not impressed. I actually found Loreals newest lightening serum far more effective and it was not expensive.(Check my earlier posts) But the real kicker was when I got a big box from Murad a couple weeks later because they enrolled me in some expensive club where they keep sending you products and you are charged right to your credit card. I am not a fan of companies that do things like this and I'm really disappointed in Murad and my entire experience. Let me know what skin lightener you think is worth trying.

Alpha Hoydroxy 10 percent glycolic aha review

So I keep hearing over and over again that you really need to being using an alpha hydroxy product with your regular moisturizer to get the maximum benefits. I read this recommendation in all the beauty magazines and recently saw this on Dr.Oz as well. The problem is for some people including myself they can be very hard for your skin to tolerate. I usually do well in the beginning and after about a week my skin becomes dried out and itchy so I stop using the product. The point of using these products is basically to rough up your skin so that your moisturizer can penetrate more, if I'm understanding correctly. The problem is if they are so irritating that you are forced to stop using than they are no good to you. I found this Alpha Hydroxy product with 10 percent glycoic aha on amazon and it had awesome reviews so I gave it a shot. I have now been using it daily for about three months and my skin can tolerate it. It took a little getting used to but it isn't as harsh as many I have tried. I like this product and I do feel like it has been beneficial to my skin and I will definitely continue to use it. It was also inexpensive at $10.89, cant beat that. If you have an aha that works real well let me know.

Yoplait Greek yogurt Coconut review

OK so it is no secret that I love all things coconut, I may be borderline obsessed. However it does not mean just because someone adds coconut that I will like the product. I was really excited when I came across Yoplaits new greek yogurt in coconut flavor, for some reason coconut seems to be overlooked in yogurts or it is mixed with pineapple which isn't the same. Well I couldn't wait to get home and try my new find. I have to say I have really tried to like the greek yogurts but I just haven't found one I love, they almost have a bit of a bitter bite to me. Well for me this was love at first spoonful, I love everything about this yogurt. I especially love that it is loaded with real coconut and not just flavoring, for me it is the texture that I really like about coconut. This stuff has 11 g of protein and is like a desert for me. The only downside for me is that it has 150 calories which is a bit high but I think it is worth the indulgence if you feel like you are getting a treat, this stuff is that good. I'm a huge fan Yoplait!

Fenway Park Tour review

Ok so I'm not into sports or baseball at all, however I recently did take a tour of Fenway with my family and I think even a non sport person would enjoy this. It lasts about an hour and it was 16 for the adults and 12 for the kids, so its reasonable enough. They begin by taking you in the stadium and showing you the locker room which is used by the visiting teams. From there you go out to the bleachers and they give you some history about Fenway and memorable moments. They also talk about how it is meticulously cared for by an army of people, (what a cool job). They take you to all the best seats in the house so you can see how amazing it looks from all the different heights. They also took us in to the press box where the media sits which was pretty cool. I really liked the tour and found it quite informative. Like I said I'm not into sports but there is something magical about Fenway that is worth experiencing.http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ballpark/tour.jsp

Boston Duck Tour review

I recently had the opportunity to go on the Boston Duck tour with my husband and two kids,(ages six and nine). I would absolutely recommend this to all families or couples looking for something fun to do in Boston for a reasonable price. Basically they have these crazy cool colorful vehicles which take you on a tour of Boston while telling you all sorts of history about the different sights. We had an amazing driver that was a talent all on his own, this guy should be doing stand up. I have a strong feeling all the drivers have fairly magnetic personalities. Our driver was named Will Shakespeare and it was non stop laughs for the entire ninety minutes. So the coolest part of the tour,(and also why it is called the duck tour), is that this very cool vehicle goes from land to water so one minute you are on land and within seconds you are enjoying Boston from the water. I will also mention that they offer to let a child drive the vehicle once the vehicle is in the water. Unfortunately my child didn't raise his hand fast enough but for the little girl who did get to I am sure she will remember that the rest of her life. I'm not a big history buff or anything but I actually learned a lot and found it quite interesting. We paid 34 for the adults and 23 for the kids, which I thought was reasonable. If this sounds like something you would like to do I would strongly suggest you reserve tickets online in advavnce as they book it well in advance. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the Boston area. http://www.bostonducktours.com/tickets.aspx

Burts Bees coconut foot creme review

I love anything that smells like coconut, so when I saw Burts Bees coconut foot crème I knew I must try it. Let me say I go to the beach a lot and you would think walking in sand would exfoliate your feet but it leaves mine rough and cracked. Basically you are supposed to put this crème on your feet and then put socks on so it soaks in. It is very thick and goopy but it smells amazing if you are a coconut fan. I decided to put it on before I went to work and see how my feet looked after six hours on my feet. Well I was amazed when I took the socks off, they were completely smooth. Yes this product does what it claims, I'm a fan! It is inexpensive at about eight dollars and really easy to use. Try it if your feet need some love.

Almay smart shade cc cream

OK, so I'm trying to figure out the difference between bb cream and cc cream. From what I just read when I did a search it seems as though the cc cream is to give more coverage and blend into skin better. I have tried the bb creams and I like them a lot. I just tried the Almay smart shade cc cream and I like it also. Funny thing is I don't think it gives as much coverage as the bb. I think if you need coverage you should stick with foundation. I think the bb and cc are really just a tinted moisturizer that offer a light coverage and an illuminating quality. I like the Almay smart shade cc cream, it goes on nicely and blends in easily. Almay also has a 35 SPF so you will be protected from the sun. The jury is out on which one I prefer, CC or BB. I like them both and think I would use the BB when I'm looking for more coverage.

Almay Lash care eye makeup remover pads

I love eye make up and for me it is the one item I don't like to leave the house without, however I hate trying to remove eye make up. I actually tend to not wear mascara because of this issue. I know this sounds super lazy but if I leave just a bit of eyeliner on at night I don't wake up looking like Alice Cooper, but forget to take off mascara and it isn't pretty. So I have found the answer to my problems, Almay lash care eye makeup remover pads are quick, easy, and inexpensive enough to make it easy to take it all off at the end of the day. They are small little round pads that you sweep over your eye and it is like a magic eraser. I was worried they might irritate my eyes but they didn't at all. I'm a fan and will continue to use.

Loreal Everstyle smooth and shine creme review

I have the type of hair that must be blown with a good smoothing product and good round brushes or my hair just looks nappy and frizzy. I'm always looking for a good smoothing product. I recently tried Loreal everstyle smooth and shine because I loved the way it smelled. Almost smells masculine to me but in a good sexy way. Well aside from a great smell it worked really well for my hair. You just apply a little bit to wet hair and style as you normally would. It left my hair as it states, smooth and shiny. I will continue to use for sure.

Loreal Youth Code day cream w spf 30 review

I'm in love with the Loreal Youth code line. So far I have tried the dark spot serum, the bb cream, and the latest is the day cream w spf 30. I'm sold on all three products. The day cream is very thick and creamy but blends into skin easily and leaves you with almost a radiant glow. I have also put the spf to the test and I wear this to the beach at eight hour stretches and I don't look like I have had sun so it is absolutely working. It is affordable at twenty dollars a jar and I think it could rival some of the more expensive ones. I can't wait to try more products from the youth code line, so far I'm a huge fan.

Loreal youth code bb cream review

So I'm a huge fan of bb cream. If you are looking for a nice light coverage that goes on like a moisturizer and gives you a glow I think they are perfect. That being said I had been using garniers bb for awhile and I liked it but I found I was too shiny with the regular version so I switched to the oil free version. I liked it but it is very liquidy and was difficult to work with. I would end up with more all over my sink than on my face. So I tried Loreal youth code and I think they got it right. It goes on like a lotion, blends into skin nicely, and leaves you with an illuminating glow. I have had many compliments on my skin since I started using. I'm a fan but I'm also dying to try their CC cream. I will review after I get it.

John Frida Blonde highlight activating conditioner review

I have been dying my hair blonde now for more years than I can remember. I now do very chunky highlights of blonde mixed with my real color which is dark, but primarily I'm a blonde at this point. I usually don't use any products to enhance the blonde as I feel like that's why I pay my hairdresser to get me to the right blonde. Well I recently purchase John Frieda's frizz ease serum and it was on sale buy one get one half off so I decided to also purchase his blonde highlight activating conditioner as well. On the bottle it says see difference after one use. Hmmmm......that always makes me leery like I'm sold a line of crap. Well I used this and I was pleasantly surprised, I did think it made my blondes blonder, however maybe I'm imagining things. Well when I went to work a co worker immediately said, "your hair looks good, did you just get it done?" Well I will be darned, it really works and I wasn't imagining it. Not only did it make my blondes blonder but it also conditioned really well. I'm a fan and will continue to use this product for sure. Try it out and let me know if you like it too.

Frizz Ease Serum review

So I have the type of hair that needs a smoothing product of some sort. If my hair dries naturally it has a slight curl and it looks frizzy. I also dry my hair with round brushes to get it straight. I'm not sure how Ive over looked frizz ease serum as it has been out for awhile but I think when I saw it had won an allure award I decided to give it another try. Well Im a fan. You do not need much, a little goes a long way. As with most smoothing products you apply to damp hair and comb through, the rest is history. I really liked it and my hair is smooth and has a killer shine. Im going to keep using this for sure.

Burts Bees tinted lip balm petunia review

I am a self proclaimed lip balm addict and you will notice I have reviewed other lip balms as well. For some reason Burts Bees tinted lip balm has snuck under my radar, until today. What an amazing product! So here is the thing, generally if you are a lip balm person you don't use lip stick. As a matter of fact I hate everything about lip stick, it leaves a funny taste, it gets on your teeth, you might get it on your clothes.....yuck! However I would like to have a little color on my lips. Burts Bees goes on like a nice smooth lip balm and has a very subtle amount of color that is absolutely perfect. The petunia shade is a very light natural pink that I just love. I'm a huge fan of this and I look forward to testing out some other shades. Let me know what you think of Burts Bees.

Loreal youth code dark spot correcting serum

So I received a free sample of Loreal youth code dark spot correcting serum when I purchases their BB cream. My skin tends to hyperpigment and be susceptible to dark spots so I am always looking for the miracle serum. I have used prescription strength hydroquinone in the past and have never seen great results. I did not have much faith that this product would be any different but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is very light and silky with a great scent so I liked that much better than the thick hydroquinone I had been using. But really it is all about the results and I have to say that since I started using this product I have noticed some dark spots lightening. I'm quite happy with the product and will definitely continue to use it on a regular basis. Post a comment if you have tried this and click the link if you would like to purchase it from amazon.

Neutrogena clear pore cleanser/ mask review

Love, love, love this product. Neutrogena is quickly becoming one of my favorites in skin care. This product is a must have for everyone. So this is a dual functioning product which I think is very cool. You can use it as a cleanser or a mask. I personally like a mask and the reason is because when you put this on your skin it is like a blast of cool menthol like sensation and it feels awesome. I just felt like I wanted to keep it on. It dries very quickly to create a mask. I cannot tell you how refreshing this feels on your skin and how clean your skin feels when you take it off. I loved this and will continue to use regularly. CVS always has Neutrogena for buy one get one half off, but if you prefer convenience I have a link to amazon for this product and you can have it delivered right to your front door.

Loreal Revitalift clinical laser repair

I started using Loreal Revitalift day cream and night cream at the same time and when I first started using these products I was not sold. As with the night cream I also found the day cream quite heavy and thick when I first started using it. However as I kept using them I realized I actually really liked this line Revitalift and I'm glad I kept using them. I put this day cream on before my make up and although it goes on thick in under a minute it has absorbed into my skin. I also like that it has an spf of 20, as I think all day creams need to have an SPF. I really see an improvement in my skin since I have started with this product and I would definitely recommend this product. For a less expensive anti aging cream I think its really good. Check it out.

Loreal revitalift night cream review

I bought this product when I ran out of my current night cream, although I really liked what I was using I like to switch to try different products. The first thing I noticed about this product is it is very thick, much thicker than what I had been using. It also has a stronger scent than what I had been using which I wasn't crazy about. Well if I'm being honest I really didn't love this product off the bat and I was actually going to return it, however I hung in there and gave it a shot and after about a week of using this I'm glad I stuck with it. I now really like the heavy thick texture and the scent grew on me as well, but aside from that when I wake up my skin looks refreshed and I'm liking that the most. If you don't like heavy night creams you probably wont like this however I would say give it a try, I didn't think I liked heavy either until I gave it a chance. I'm sold!

Maybelline unstopable eyeliner review

So really the only reason I bought my Maybelline unstoppable eyeliner was because I happened to see it made the Allure awards list, and it sparked my curiosity. What could make an eyeliner stand out, I usually buy a cheap pencil and I'm happy with it. Maybelline is inexpensive enough so I grabbed one at amazon as an add on product. Well I'm impressed, I really like this eyeliner. I bought the onyx shade. It has a real nice point that seems to just stay in that point even after many uses. The point makes it real easy to get super close to your lash line on the upper lid which is what I like. It also blends quite well if you like to smudge a bit, some don't. It comes off real easy when I take my makeup off at night which is also a plus. I would definitely say I will be purchasing another Maybelline unstoppable when this one runs out. Try one for yourself.

Crystallized ginger review

When your child is holding his belly and looking at you with tears in his eyes and saying, "mom, my belly hurts" ,every parent wants to be able to take that pain away. I have found something that I find very helpful and seems to always work for my child. It is Crystalized Ginger. If you have never heard of this it is simply ginger root which has been dried and preserved with a sugar coating. Research suggests that ginger can help with nausea associated with morning sickness or nausea associated with chemotherapy treatment. It is also known to help with sea sickness. It is the same concept as using Ginger ale to help with an upset stomach however from my own experience the crystalized ginger works far better. It looks like candy but it is actually quite spicy so if you or your child has never tried it I suggest trying a very small piece. I am not a ginger fan so I do not care for this at all, however my child and others I know absolutely love it. You can put this in tea or other recipes if you like it. For my six year old who seems to get pretty bad belly aches it is almost like a miracle cure. This morning he was crying in pain and holding his stomach and after he had the crystallized ginger it was almost instant relief. I now always keep this on hand in my home, and some in my purse in case a belly ache occurs. It may not work for every child and I'm quiet certain not every child will like the taste but its worth a try. This product can be found in health food stores, gourmet markets, or I have started getting it on Amazon and enclosed a link so if you would like to order some you can have it sent to your door. Oral B Glide pro heath floss review

To some people floss probably is neither here nor there however if your teeth are tight it can be hard to floss without breaking the floss which then gets stuck in your teeth. Well I'm one of those people and when I go to the dentist the worst part of a cleaning for me is the flossing. If this sounds like you let me tell you about the greatest invention ever, Oral B Glide pro health is simply the best product ever. Basically they take a floss and make it a little wider and put a coating on it that makes it glide in between the tightest teeth, hence the name Glide! There are other brands that make a similar product but for me this is the hands down winner. (And for me it has to be the cool mint)Keep in mind flossing affects your heart health and prevents bad breath. This product is slightly more expensive than some of the other flosses, however I buy it when it is on sale and I stock up. Or if you like convenience you can gab it on Amazon which I've added a link for.Crest Glide Deep Clean Floss Cool Mint -- 43.7 Yards

Clinique stop signs eye review

I'm on a quest to find the do all end all eye cream. So a friend gave me Clinique stop signs to try and I have been using about 3 weeks now. While I cannot say it is the mother of all eye creams, I will say it is a good product and I like it. First of all it has a light scent that reminds me of coconuts which I really happen to love, if you aren't into scents its probably not right for you. Second when it goes on it almost leaves a white glow behind which really gives eyes a wake up look. Last I've been doing this little trick at the end of the days when my eyes and makeup are looking tired, I dab a bit under each eye over the existing makeup and it really gives me a subtle glow which I like. As I said, I didn't find this to be a game changer but I would say I do like and would continue to use.

Canon Rebel T3 review

I bought my Canon Rebel T3 almost two years ago and I only wish I had bought it sooner. The reason I chose this camera was I asked a professional photographer what was a good starting DSLR camera that takes awesome pictures and wasn't too expensive. On her suggestion I purchases the Rebel T3 which was about $500 and it came with a lense and a bag. I since purchased a zoom lense which I think is a must have. I wont get technical about what this camera offers as you can do your own research in case you are looking for specific features. What I will say is this camera is extremely easy to use and I think it takes amazing pictures. I only wish I had bought this when my first son was born and not waited until he was eight, don't make my mistake, it is so worth the investment. There are many great cameras out there and you can pay a fortune. I think for the price point the Canon Rebel T3 is a tremendous product and I love the pictures it takes. Check out some deals on Amazon, I think it is a better deal when you buy it with the lense instead of just the camera. Rusk w8less hairspray review

If you have never tried rusk w8less hairspray I highly recommend it. I've been using this for a long time now and I love it. If you are looking for something heavy that makes your hair untouchable but it doesn't move then this is not for you. This product is exactly as its name says w8less, as in it is like having nothing on your hair, yet it manages to provide hold.(how do they do that?) Anyway the real reason I started using it was because a friend of mine was using it and I loved the smell,(thought she had a new perfume but it was her hairspray) I don't know how to describe the smell other than it almost has a masculine smell but in a good way if that makes sense. Guess this would be a good product for men as well. This is a must have for me, it is a bit more expensive at about $17 in the hair salon or drug stores but you can find it cheaper at amazon so I enclosed a link. Rusk W8less Strong Hold Shaping and Control Hair Spray, 10 Ounce

Lucky Brand Jeans review

I have a hell of a time finding jeans that I love, but don't we all. Well I recently bought a pair of Lucky jeans,(they used to be called sweet and low but now they are just sweet. I got bootcut.) Well first I would like to say my experience in the Lucky store was awesome, two really cool sales clerks that all but bent over backwards for me. I don't like to be overwhelmed with sales people but its nice when someone knows the product and is there to grab you a different size. So these jeans are a little pricey at $120 but they are made really well and the material is super soft and comfy. The fit of these is absolutely perfect and when I sit or bend my ass crack isn't hanging out. My point is they are low on waist, but not too low. I've worn and washed a few times and they wash well and they still feel great. I'm a fan and to me they were worth the money. Also my neighbor got her husband a pair of mens and they look awesome and he was very happy with them as well. If the price is too high check out ebay and you can pick up a used pair for less.

Garnier Skin renew anti dark circle roller reviw

Let me say I'm a huge Garnier fan and I have been for awhile. That being said I'm not a fan of the Garnier skin renew anti dark circle roller. I think what I didn't like about it is the roller aspect. I didn't like the way it felt to roll this under my eye and it was very hard to control how much goes where. Also quiet difficult to get in the corners above your nose. I think anything that goes on the very sensitive skin under and around the eyes should be applied carefully with your ring finger. As for the product itself it just didn't wow me like so many of their products do. I used this once or twice and it is going in the trash. Sorry Garnier, but I still love you. Share your experience with this product.

Almay wake up concealer review

I really would rather write about products I like but I also hate to see people buy something that I don't consider to be very good. Let me start by saying that concealers are the beauty product that is most challenging for me, as it seems very hard to get color and consistency right. With all that being said I have to say I didn't care for the Almay wake up concealer. The number one reason I don't like this is the way it is packaged. It comes in a tube with a brush that you have to squeeze to get the product out and every time I tried to use it way too much came out, so I was spending more time cleaning it up. As for actually concealing it just didn't work for me. This product is now taking up space in my make up bag until I decide to get over the fact I spent money on something I need to throw away. Please let me know if you have tried this product and what you think of it.

Jergens Natural Glow + firming daily moisutizer review

I am in love! This product goes into a special category I call game changers. Let me start by saying I have used Jergens self tanners and others in the past, my biggest complaint wasn't streaks or orange fingers, but that god awful smell they all seem to have. Well those days are over my friends, Jergens products no longer have the smell and they even put something on all their new products which reads "finally great color without odor! So I'm guessing I wasn't the only one who hated the sunless tanner smell. Let me say it does still have a light fragrance but it is subtle and quite nice. However it isn't unscented and you might want to take a sniff in the store before you buy it. This product goes on like their other ones, its easy to apply and easy to rub in so you aren't streaky. I saw a difference immediately after one application but it was a subtle glow, the color increases the more you use it. I think it is a very natural glow as the name suggests it will be. As if all that isn't enough this is also a firming lotion promising to reduce the appearance of cellulite in as little to seven days. I would say that is absolutely the case as I think tanners or having a tan always seems to reduce the look of cellulite,(that has been my experience). Jergens Natural Glow has constantly won the allure award and I think they will continue to. This product retails for about eight dollars, it is always on sale at CVS, and I always see coupons in the paper for it. I want to point out to the faithful men readers that this product is not just for the ladies. I encourage you to run out or order it from amazon ASAP! Share your thoughts with me on this product. Amazon review

I love everything about Amazon. I love that there isn't much you cant find on Amazon. I love reading the reviews of other customers before I purchase things.(I have spent hours at a time reading customer reviews). I love that with one click I can place an order and I don't have to get my credit card out. I love that their products ship quickly and they have a no hassle return policy so if you aren't happy with your purchase you can send it back. I love that if you have an account you can track all your purchases or cancel orders after you place it if you change your mind. I love that they offer free shipping if you spend over $25 on most things. I love that you can buy used if you choose. I love the book reviews so you can try to figure out if you really want to purchase, or maybe you just want to go to the library and borrow that book. Myself and so many friends now use Amazon all the time and we are all very happy. You will notice on my site that I have direct links to Amazon for some of the products I really like. I would not do this if I didn't like and support this company. Love to hear your Amazon experiences.

Alba coconut cream lip balm review

I'm a self proclaimed lip balm addict,(add it to the other addictions like wine, chocolate, cheese, Porn). Anyway my true preference is coconut lip balm because I love all things coconut, so I'm always searching for coconut lip balm and when I find them I usually buy them in bulk as any true addict would. I came across Alba coconut cream on Ebay and I bought five for about five bucks. I get so excited when things I'm dying to try show up in the mail. I tore open the bag and couldn't wait to get it on my lips. First let me say I'm not all the picky about lip balms but I'm not a fan if they have SPF because often it leaves a bad taste in mouth.(check out my review of Hive lip balm, different post). Well here is where I keep it real, I didn't like this product. It isn't really coconut to me, I don't like the texture, and I don't like the taste it leaves behind. I guess I didn't like anything about this product which really bummed me out. Don't get me wrong, I will use it in a pinch but I just don't like it. You win some you lose some. Let me know your favorite lip balm.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin anti wrinkle cream review

So here is another allure winner and a great product. I have been really happy with Neutrogena lately, one great product after another. So I bought this product because it has retinol in it and it has an SPF, I need both in my day moisturizer. This product is light and non greasy and is great under make up. It has no scent to it which many with SPF have so that was a plus and it actually feels weightless to me. I see a radiance in my skin after I apply it, and really that is the goal. I haven't been in the sun yet so I cant say how well the SPF holds up. I really like this product and can certainly see why it got the allure award, I'm slowly trying all the allure products and finding they don't miss. This product retails for around $14.00 and you can always find a sale and I see lots of coupons for Neutrogena products. If you simply must have this now click the link and you can order from amazon.Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream, SPF 15, 1.4 Ounce

Great Lash Mascara royal blue review

Great Lash Mascara is truly one of the greats. This stuff has won the allure award and I never see a bad review about it. A six dollar mascara that is a complete powerhouse in the industry. Well I recently read something that said if you want to make the whites in your eyes look even whiter, try a blue mascara. I'm really not even a huge mascara fan so the thought of putting blue mascara on was downright alarming. But hey what the heck, I will try anything that makes me prettier so why not. So I opted to buy Great Lash in royal blue because I know the product will be good but I'm really not sure what to expect of the color royal blue. Well I will be honest, the color was a bit shocking,(very bright). Against my better judgment I put it on and used my lash curler and put on another coat. First let me say Great Lash makes a mascara I really like, there is no gloppy stuff with this, you seem to get the perfect amount on the wand and it isn't all over the place like some. So back to the color, surprisingly I like it and you really cant tell that it is a bright blue, it shows up on my lashes as just a hint of color. I'm a fan and I will use it. As far as making my eyes whiter, well I don't see a difference but I'm liking the blue anyway. This is an inexpensive mascara for around $6 in drugstores and I saw it even cheaper on Amazon. Physicians formula bronzer review (Shimmer Strips)

So the last bronzer I bought was at Sephora and I cant recall the brand but it was pricey at $30 and I didn't like it. I ended up returning it. So I have been on the hunt for a good bronzer and I keep seeing good reviews of Physicians Formula, so I decided to try their latest Shimmer Strips (Vegas Strip/ light Bronzer). It retails for $14 at CVS, and it happened to be on sale and I had a coupon so I was able to get it for a whopping five dollars,(love when that happens). Anyway as you can see in the photo it has strips of different colors that when applied with a brush all mix together in a bronzing shimmery harmony. It goes on real nice and you don't see the individual colors, it just give a nice, subtle bronzing affect. (Its good, I really like it). Some bronzers are overwhelming but this one is not at all. What I also like is you can use a small eye brush and use the colors from the strips on your eyes and it compliments the shades on your face. I really like this product and I will continue to use it. I can see why I have only seen positive reviews about this product. If you would like to have this delivered to your door click the Amazon link. tria 4x hair removal laser review

I think an at home laser that can be purchased for about $450 and removes hair permanently is pure genius. That being said the big question is does it work? Well the short and skinny is for me and my experience, yes it absolutely has. Now for the details, prior to the 4x tria coming out I had purchased the regular tria laser, which I used faithfully for about two and a half months. The regular Tria was not approved for the face which is why I upgraded to the 4x, and also I am told the 4x has more juice.(meaning it should take less treatments to get rid of hair) So I had done expensive office visits in the past which did not eliminate the hair permanently and they are quite painful to boot, the good news is the Tria costs less than one in office session, bad news is the Tria is painful too.(I'm just keeping it real). So for me after almost four months of use I have almost no hair under my arms and the hair on my legs is becoming sparser and sparser. Now lets talk about the pain again for a minute and let me start by saying I have a high threshold for pain, if you aren't willing to endure a little bit of pain this might not be the product for you. I have thick course hair and I'm an every day shaver so maybe it isn't as painful for others, I can only speak for myself. This laser is quite easy to use, it has five settings, 1 is basically painless, 2 painless, 3 starting to feel it, 4 Holy Crap this stings 5 what the bleep was I thinking? I'm being dramatic but I do think it is painful on the highest setting. It becomes less painful the more times you use it as the hair becomes more sparse. The good news is that Tria has a 90 day money back guarantee, how cool is that? There is nothing to lose, if you find it is too painful or it doesn't work on you for some reason just send it back, its a no brainer. I think they can offer this guarantee because it is a great product and it works. This product is not only for women, this also works well for men. I love being able to do this in the privacy of my own home and for me its worth a little pain to be able to throw out the razors. Highly recommend you try and see if it is right for you. I've enclosed a link so you can purchase this product through Amazon but please make sure they offer the same 90 day refund as you get when you purchase from Tria. Update June 2013 So the hair under my arms is almost gone completely but I will say I'm still plugging away at the legs and although less it is still there and I think it is going to take awhile to get it gone completely. I use my tria faithfully every two weeks but for some reason my legs are being stubborn. I will keep at it and keep you posted on my progress. Update Oct 2013 So I am still using my tria regularly and I am starting to think maybe I am just one of those people who is not meant to be hairless. I would say I am about where I was at my last update. The hair under my arms is pretty much gone but I notice if I don't use the laser for a bit it seems to slowly come back. My legs are about the same even though I continue to use it and this thing does not get any less painful. I am not going to lie, this thing really hurts when on full power. I would love others opinions and their experiences. Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X - Blush

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Push up review

I think when Victoria's Secret came out with the miracle bra they changed lives,(mine included). I have been buying these bras for many years and watched them evolve. First let me say I have never bought a bra from VS that I didn't like, so I guess you could say I'm a big fan. My latest purchase was the Very Sexy push up. I bought it in nude and it has a little diamond in between the boobs that I just love. As usual they did not disappoint, I love, love, love, this bra. These bras give a smaller chested woman just the right amount of padding where I feel like it enhances my clothes and confidence but I don't think it is so much where it looks fake. Aside from the enhancing I have found that these bras are not only good quality but very comfortable as well. They retail for $45 and I think it is worth every last penny. I usually only buy about two a year. I can't say enough good things about this bra and if you have yet to try one I highly recommend giving one a try. Let me know if you like this bra as much as I do.

Olay Regenerist night recovery cream review

So every night you are given a chance to repair for eight hours,(hopefully if not eight at least six). I love that feeling of taking off all the war paint and slathering my face with a good night cream. For me I like it to be heavy and I better be glistening once applied or I will feel like it isn't working. I have been using Olay Regenerist night recovery cream for about a month now and this stuff fits the bill of what I'm looking for in a night cream. It is thick and creamy with a light scent which is quite nice. I lather it on and I love the way it feels and makes my skin feel. My skin feels renewed in the morning. It is heavy but not so heavy that you feel like your skin isn't breathing. I would definitely keep using this product. Click the link to order from Amazon. Garnier BB cream oil free review

So I was very excited when Garnier introduced their new BB cream which is now available oil free. I actually had been using the regular BB cream from Garnier which I liked very much, but my only complaint was it was a little heavy and I would be shiny after a few hours. Well I love the oil free version and I am no longer shiny. It goes on like a moisturizer and is quite light, if you are looking for major coverage this will not give you it. On the other hand if you are looking for light subtle coverage than this is going to wow the pants off you. I'm a huge Garnier fan and as usual they didn't disappoint. I love that they took a great product and simply improved it. Click the link to order from Amazon at a lower price than drugstores. Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B.
