So every once in awhile we come across one of those products which makes you say, "run, don't walk to go and get this product."
L'Oreal has been on a roll for wowing me and I can say they did not disappoint with the new Magic nude liquid powder. I will start by saying there does seem to be magic in this bottle. Isn't liquid powder an oxymoron for god sake? Well this stuff comes out like a a very loose liquid but when you apply it to your skin it is like instantly a powder. It goes on easily and blends in like a dream. I will say if you are looking for major coverage this probably isn't for you. It is very light and offers minimal coverage but gives an even skin tone appearance when done. I almost felt like my skin looked air brushed which I thought was an amazing effect. I love love love this product! I have been on a BB cream kick but because they can be so creamy I feel shiny when I use, this product is completely different, it gives a powdered finished look. Please try this and let me know if you love it as much as me.
Im just your average chick and mom who loves to read REAL reviews on anything that I am going to spend my money on. There is nothing worse than purchasing something to find out it just wasnt worth it.I will review makeup, supplements, anti aging products and procedures, foods, clothes, and anything I use day to day. I will give you my honest opinion on things I buy, I encourage comments even if you disagree with my opinion. I hope I can help you and also learn from you as well.

Almay smart shade cc cream
OK, so I'm trying to figure out the difference between bb cream and cc cream. From what I just read when I did a search it seems as though the cc cream is to give more coverage and blend into skin better. I have tried the bb creams and I like them a lot. I just tried the Almay smart shade cc cream and I like it also. Funny thing is I don't think it gives as much coverage as the bb. I think if you need coverage you should stick with foundation. I think the bb and cc are really just a tinted moisturizer that offer a light coverage and an illuminating quality. I like the Almay smart shade cc cream, it goes on nicely and blends in easily. Almay also has a 35 SPF so you will be protected from the sun. The jury is out on which one I prefer, CC or BB. I like them both and think I would use the BB when I'm looking for more coverage.
Almay Lash care eye makeup remover pads
I love eye make up and for me it is the one item I don't like to leave the house without, however I hate trying to remove eye make up. I actually tend to not wear mascara because of this issue. I know this sounds super lazy but if I leave just a bit of eyeliner on at night I don't wake up looking like Alice Cooper, but forget to take off mascara and it isn't pretty. So I have found the answer to my problems, Almay lash care eye makeup remover pads are quick, easy, and inexpensive enough to make it easy to take it all off at the end of the day. They are small little round pads that you sweep over your eye and it is like a magic eraser. I was worried they might irritate my eyes but they didn't at all. I'm a fan and will continue to use.

Maybelline unstopable eyeliner review
So really the only reason I bought my Maybelline unstoppable eyeliner was because I happened to see it made the Allure awards list, and it sparked my curiosity. What could make an eyeliner stand out, I usually buy a cheap pencil and I'm happy with it. Maybelline is inexpensive enough so I grabbed one at amazon as an add on product. Well I'm impressed, I really like this eyeliner. I bought the onyx shade. It has a real nice point that seems to just stay in that point even after many uses. The point makes it real easy to get super close to your lash line on the upper lid which is what I like. It also blends quite well if you like to smudge a bit, some don't. It comes off real easy when I take my makeup off at night which is also a plus. I would definitely say I will be purchasing another Maybelline unstoppable when this one runs out. Try one for yourself.

Clinique stop signs eye review
I'm on a quest to find the do all end all eye cream. So a friend gave me Clinique stop signs to try and I have been using about 3 weeks now. While I cannot say it is the mother of all eye creams, I will say it is a good product and I like it. First of all it has a light scent that reminds me of coconuts which I really happen to love, if you aren't into scents its probably not right for you. Second when it goes on it almost leaves a white glow behind which really gives eyes a wake up look. Last I've been doing this little trick at the end of the days when my eyes and makeup are looking tired, I dab a bit under each eye over the existing makeup and it really gives me a subtle glow which I like. As I said, I didn't find this to be a game changer but I would say I do like and would continue to use.

Great Lash Mascara royal blue review
Great Lash Mascara is truly one of the greats. This stuff has won the allure award and I never see a bad review about it. A six dollar mascara that is a complete powerhouse in the industry. Well I recently read something that said if you want to make the whites in your eyes look even whiter, try a blue mascara. I'm really not even a huge mascara fan so the thought of putting blue mascara on was downright alarming. But hey what the heck, I will try anything that makes me prettier so why not. So I opted to buy Great Lash in royal blue because I know the product will be good but I'm really not sure what to expect of the color royal blue. Well I will be honest, the color was a bit shocking,(very bright). Against my better judgment I put it on and used my lash curler and put on another coat. First let me say Great Lash makes a mascara I really like, there is no gloppy stuff with this, you seem to get the perfect amount on the wand and it isn't all over the place like some. So back to the color, surprisingly I like it and you really cant tell that it is a bright blue, it shows up on my lashes as just a hint of color. I'm a fan and I will use it. As far as making my eyes whiter, well I don't see a difference but I'm liking the blue anyway. This is an inexpensive mascara for around $6 in drugstores and I saw it even cheaper on Amazon. Click the link and have it delivered to your door from Amazon.
Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara, 104 Royal Blue, 0.43 Fluid OuncePhysicians formula bronzer review (Shimmer Strips)
So the last bronzer I bought was at Sephora and I cant recall the brand but it was pricey at $30 and I didn't like it. I ended up returning it. So I have been on the hunt for a good bronzer and I keep seeing good reviews of Physicians Formula, so I decided to try their latest Shimmer Strips (Vegas Strip/ light Bronzer). It retails for $14 at CVS, and it happened to be on sale and I had a coupon so I was able to get it for a whopping five dollars,(love when that happens). Anyway as you can see in the photo it has strips of different colors that when applied with a brush all mix together in a bronzing shimmery harmony. It goes on real nice and you don't see the individual colors, it just give a nice, subtle bronzing affect. (Its good, I really like it). Some bronzers are overwhelming but this one is not at all. What I also like is you can use a small eye brush and use the colors from the strips on your eyes and it compliments the shades on your face. I really like this product and I will continue to use it. I can see why I have only seen positive reviews about this product. If you would like to have this delivered to your door click the Amazon link.

Garnier BB cream oil free review
So I was very excited when Garnier introduced their new BB cream which is now available oil free. I actually had been using the regular BB cream from Garnier which I liked very much, but my only complaint was it was a little heavy and I would be shiny after a few hours. Well I love the oil free version and I am no longer shiny. It goes on like a moisturizer and is quite light, if you are looking for major coverage this will not give you it. On the other hand if you are looking for light subtle coverage than this is going to wow the pants off you. I'm a huge Garnier fan and as usual they didn't disappoint. I love that they took a great product and simply improved it. Click the link to order from Amazon at a lower price than drugstores.

Bobbi Brown creamy concealer kit review
So not only do I have some lovely bags under my eyes but you can also see the blue veins under my eyes as well. I have tried many concealers on my quest to cover my imperfections and what I have found is that the wrong concealer only accentuates and emphasizes my problem areas, until now. Ladies listen up and listen good, if you have been searching for a concealer that hides without emphasizing the search is over. The Bobbi Brown creamy concealer kit is a true game changer! It is rare that I fall in love with a product but this bad boy had me at hello. Ok so there are two parts to this which I don't usually like, but it is quick and easy and covers my blue veins. I actually spent 30 dollars on the Bobbi Brown concealer brush which I think was an awesome investment. I use her brush to apply the creamy concealer and then there is a highlighting powder that I use a different brush to apply. I don't feel like it sits in the fine lines like some concealers do, it just gives great coverage and the highlighting gives you a glow. A friend saw me and said my face looked like it had a radiant glow. I cant say enough about this product and would love to know if others love this as much as I do or maybe you think you found something even better, either way I would love to hear what you think.

Sally Hansen complete salon manicure review
Ok so Im not big on nail colors and I dont get manicures, however I absolutely cannot stand having naked nails. Mine get too dry and brittle if I dont keep something on them, which for me is usually a subtle pale which gives them a clean look. When I came across Sally Hansens complete salon manicure in a bottle I thought it was genious as now I didnt have to worry about a primer or a top coat. I thought eight dollars what a bit pricey for a drugstore poish but I really wanted to try their white shade which is called polar bear. Well ladies, this stuff lives up to its name and is worth the price. It goes on beautifully and looks professionally done. So in fairness let me say it is hard to mess up with whites so keep in mind colors may be trickier. I get many compliments on my polar bear shade when Im wearing it and I think it just gives nails a clean finished look. Takes about five mins to apply one coat which is usually all I need, dries quickly and lasts almosts a week if you arent abusing your hands.
Im a fan Sally Hansen and I will continue to buy the polar bare color. Find in most drugstores or go to my favorite CVS, they always have sales on it and always have coupons.

Garnier BB Cream review
Im a huge Garnier fan, Ive tried many of their products and have never been disappointed or brought anything back. When they came out with a BB cream I was like a kid going to get a new toy, super excited to say the least. It sells for about $14 at most drug stores and they always have coupons for it to boot. Well I ran to CVS and got it and ladies this stuff does not disappoint, it is light and goes on like a cream but gives great coverage and also gives your skin a radiant glow. Now if you need alot of coverage this isnt for you but if you just need a little coverage to even out skin tone and give you a glow I think that you will like this alot. I tried and reviewed Smashbox BB which is much pricier selling for $39 at Sephora, and I did not like it at all. I will be trying others as well. Great job Garnier!
Smashbox Camera ready BB cream review
OK so here is a perfect example of a product I bought based on the high number of great reviews that just doesnt work for me at all. First of all if Im going to spend 39 dollars for a BB cream it better give me super model skin. Well here is what I found, I have used other BB creams that I like very much and what I like about BB is that opposed to a foundation they should be light with a sheer coverage. This product is very thick and heavy which made it hard to apply evenly, I found it heavier than any foundation I ever used and felt it looked like I was wearing too much makeup. To me that is the opposite of what a BB should do. I also found that I bought the shade light/med and the shade was far too dark. Well it is going back and I will stick to my fourteen dollar Garnier which I will post next. This product was a big disappointment to me and overpriced to boot.

Frosted Animal Cracker lip shine by Philosophy review
!
Im generally not a lip gloss girl, Im a lip balm addict and if you also have this addiction you know exactly what I mean. I am like an asthmatic who hides their inhalers but for me it is lip balm. And yes it is really addictive. That being said when I go out and get all prettied up that is the one time I will use some gloss, over the lip balm of course. I bought this product from Sephora,it is called animal cracker because it tastes like it, (nothing worse than getting a yucky tasting gloss in your mouth and you cant get rid of the taste). Well ladies this stuff is the bomb, not only does it hold true to tasting super good but this stuff gives you J. Lo lips. Its like a pale, frosty, high shine that smells and tastes delicious, so if you accidently lip your licks you will not be offended by this taste at all. It stays on well and it really gives you movie star lips. That being said they have many different flavors and I have tried quite a few and I dont think any compare to the original frosted animal cracker, not to be confused with pink frosted. It is $10 on sephora and it has lasted me awhile. I have hooked friends on this lip balm and made them believers. Love this product
Nars Blush Orgasm review
I have been using Nars blush in color Orgasm for so long I forgot exactly when I got it. This product goes into a special category which I call, Love Love Love! Back when I purchased this on Sephora I did it based on the reviews, this was one of those times when I was not misled by the reviews. Ive since seen this product in many magazines and it is always a favorite. There are many colors but I am specifically speaking of the color Orgasm,(Im thinking thats not too hard to forget). It has a sort of shimmery shine effect that gives you a bit of a glow and sparkle. I have olive skin tone but Ive had friends with much different skin shades like it as much as I did. You can purchase at either Amazon or Sephora (two of my favorite companies, easy returns if you dont like), it is $28 and it will last you forever or until you drop it(like I did) but it is worth every penny.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Order from Sephora.com or you can click the link and order it from Amazon.

They're Real Mascara review
So I purchased this mascara from Sephora for $23.00. I think that is pricey for mascara seeing as I could go grab some great lash for six bucks at CVS. See the thing is most of my friends love mascara and cant go without but Im not the biggest fan of mascara. I have yet to find a mascara that I love. I find most mascara to be messy, heavy and intrusive. I guess I'm searching for one that is light and doesnt require all sorts of time to remove, oh and of course I want it to make my eyes look like a supermodels, is that so much to ask? So heres the deal, I didnt really love this product. I was swayed to get it by the 3000 plus reviews it recieved claiming it was life changing. (are these reviews real people or the product maker?) I found it heavy and if you put too much on you will look like Alice Cooper. Getting it off was rather difficult like most mascaras. Yes my lashes looked longer but no more than the cheap mascaras make them look. I will be returning as Sephora lets you return if you dont like. I would love mascara feed back and love to know if anyone has come across a mascara that they think is a game changer.
